Carly and Evan’s story started with one open seat at a bar in St. Croix and a guy carrying a pizza. Years later, they returned to the same island to celebrate with all of the people they love most.

If we had to describe their wedding weekend in one word, it would be joy. From beach days and crab races to emotional speeches, dancing through the streets, and a packed dance floor, every moment reflected the kind of people they are. Even when rain forced their ceremony to move indoors, not a single person let it steal the celebration. There was no music for Carly’s walk down the aisle, so their family and friends cheered instead. Somehow, it felt even more perfect that way.

One of our favorite stories about these two is that Evan once ran to bring Carly parmesan cheese while she was in the shower because he was so excited for her to try it. It sounds silly, but that’s who they are. They can’t wait to share life with each other. That joy is contagious, and by the end of the weekend, every single guest had become a part of it.
