B&D is a husband and wife photography and film studio, documenting weddings across Chicago and select destinations worldwide. Our work explores the intersection of honest narration, nostalgia, and personal romance, told through a blend of digital and analog formats. Through a story-led, human-forward approach, we record moments for long-term resonance, made to feel familiar for years to come.

About Us

We met working at our favorite spot, fell in love quickly, got married the following summer, and never really looked back. Brooke has always been drawn to photography, the middle schooler with a digital camera always in hand, and now as mom she can be found setting up little photoshoots for their kids. David came into video as a natural storyteller, convinced that everyone has at least one story worth telling and that we could not exist as a people without them. What began as individual passions became a shared one in 2021.
